How to get your Containers for Change refund
Retail Cash Voucher
- Cash Vouchers are available from every TOMRA machine and are redeemable for either cash or a discount at Woolworths or Coles (check the top of the voucher).
- Simply return containers and press “Voucher” on screen. No sign-up necessary
- Take your voucher to your local redemption partner (listed on the top of the voucher) and hand it in at the service counter to get your cash refund.
Shopping Discount
- Shopping Discount Vouchers are available from every TOMRA machine and are redeemable at any Woolworths or Coles (check the top of the voucher).
- Simply return containers and press “Voucher” on screen. No sign-up necessary
- Take your voucher to local redemption partner (listed on the top of the voucher) and scan it when paying for your groceries to receive a discount off your shopping.
Bank Transfer
- Sign up for a scheme ID from the Containers for Change website.
- Once you receive your Scheme ID Barcode, scan your barcode at any TOMRA Machine before you start your recycling session.
- Insert containers and select “Transfer” on the screen when you’re done– you will get your Containers for Change refund within 1 business day.
PayPal
- Sign up for a scheme ID from the Containers for Change website.
- Once you receive your Scheme ID Barcode, scan your barcode at any TOMRA Machine before you start your recycling session.
- Insert containers and select “Transfer” on the screen when you’re done – you will get your Containers for Change refund within 1 business day.
Charity Donation
- Search for the scheme ID barcode of the charity you’d like to donate to on the Containers for Change website.
- Once you’re at TOMRA, scan the Scheme ID barcode of the charity you’d like to donate to at the TOMRA Machine before you start.
- Insert your containers, then select “Transfer” on the screen when you’re done. The charity will get 100% of your donated refund directly.
